This is a privacy notice in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It covers enquiries and quote requests sent via the leivonniemi.com website.

What data we process
When you send the contact form or a quote request, we process the data you enter in the form: your name and email address and, optionally, your company, phone number, address and message. A quote request also stores the products and quantities you have chosen. To prevent misuse of the forms, we limit the number of submissions from the same address. The limit uses an identifier derived from the IP address, which is deleted automatically after 10 minutes. The IP address itself is not stored.
We count the visitors to this website from the server's own records, not with cookies. Without your consent, nothing is stored on your device, and the statistics do not store your IP address or anything else that could identify you.
Purpose and legal basis of processing
We use the data to reply to your enquiry, to prepare quotes and to manage the customer relationship. The legal basis is steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries and managing the customer relationship (Art. 6(1)(f)).

The data comes from you when you send the contact form or a quote request.
Retention
Quote requests are deleted from the website automatically after 12 months. Messages sent using the contact form are kept for as long as handling the matter requires and deleted when they are no longer needed.
Disclosure and transfer of data
We do not disclose the data to third parties or transfer it outside the EU or EEA. The website's hosting and maintenance partners process the data only to provide the service.
Cookies and browser storage
The website uses a necessary cookie that remembers your cookie choices, and a statistics cookie only if you accept it. There are no marketing cookies or third-party embeds on the website, and fonts are loaded from the website's own server. You can change your choices at any time using the cookie settings button in the corner of the page.
Apart from cookies, only the quote request is stored in your browser. When you add a product to the quote request, the products and quantities you have chosen are saved in your browser's storage (localStorage, under the name smiTarjouskori) so that they are kept as you move from page to page. The data stays on your own device and is not sent to us until you send the quote request. It is deleted once the quote request has been sent, or when you empty it or clear your browser data. This storage is necessary for the function you have requested, so it does not require separate consent.
